Parents: Be Sure To Get Your Soccer Season Passes at Black and Silver Night!

In an effort to make it a little easier and just a bit less expensive to attend all your Shiloh Generals home soccer games, this year we’re proud to introduce the Shiloh Soccer Season Pass. You’ll have three options to choose from; the JV Season Pass, the Varsity Season Pass, or the All Soccer Season pass, all priced less than the cost of individually purchased tickets. (pricing details to come)
The Soccer Season Passes will be available for purchase at Black and Silver Night.

ATTENTION:
Field Clean-Up Day & Family Barbecue Postponed until Saturday, February 13

PLAYERS & PARENTS: Due to all the rain this week the playing field is to wet to have all our kids out there helping to clean up.  Please change your calenders and join us next Saturday as we ready the field and kick-off the season with our first ever Family Barbecue.

Field Clean-Up Day, Saturday, February 13, 10:00 a.m.  PLAYERS: All hands on deck! Be there by 9:30 a.m., ready to work by 10:00. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY! Hot chocolate and Krispy Kremes await you. Registration packets will be ready for early pick-up and fees may be paid. Individual player photos will be taken. PARENTS: Leaf blowers and fuel are needed to help clean out the stadium.

Soccer Family Barbecue.  All players' families are welcome to join us immediately following Field Clean-Up (approx. noon or 12:30 p.m.) to celebrate with a complementary barbecue. Bistro fare will be served, and pot-luck donations will be welcomed! We look forward to re-acquainting with old friends and meeting new!  Attention Parent Volunteers!

We have an IMMEDIATE NEED for parents to help sell program ads and sponsorships. The funds raised from these help pay for the program and keep the program cost to our players and parents low. The program is a great momentum of the season, especially for our seniors. If you can, please contact Wendall Brown and let you know you're available to help.Wendall's email address and phone number can be found on the Booster Club/Officers page.

2010 Season Fundraisers!

Team: So far this season we have not raised enough money to cover the budget and items may need to be cut. If you have not yet met your fundraising requirement please see the Fundraiser page of this site for more information. Time is running out!
ESPN Magazine Subscription Sales
:
This fundraiser brings in 75% of each sale and can raise a lot of dollars quickly! Each player needs to sell at least ONE magazine subscription to meet your fund raising requirement. If you sell more than one, credit may be applied to your soccer fee. (The number of bags of pecans you sold will help determine how much credit you will earn. We still have pecans left; if you didn't sell at least 24 bags, see one of the soccer coaches to pick up more pecans to sell.)

Remember, all players MUST participate in Soccer Fundraisers, and ALL players are required to sell at least one case of pecans in order to receive a discount on their soccer fee this spring. See the Fundraiser page of this site for more information.

Did you know that there is a Shiloh Soccer Facebook Page?
Join us at the Official Shiloh Generals Soccer Group on Facebook and keep up to date on what's going on with your team! We'll post important information and last-minute details. Keep in touch with Shiloh Soccer Alumni. If you've got any ideas and suggestions, or just want to make a comment, go ahead. Join the Group today!
(Joining a Facebook group does NOT make your personal Facebook page available to everyone in the group -- only to those who you have accepted friend requests from. Be aware, however, that the Official Shiloh Generals Soccer Group is a monitored Facebook site.)

Try-outs this week! Monday - Friday. Rosters will be posted on Friday, February 5.

Sports Physicals. You MUST have a current physical on file to participate in conditioning. You can download the Physical form from the Handouts/Forms page of this site. If your physical is current but you know it will expire before soccer season begins, please have your physical now, to avoid the mad scramble in February.

Grades & Progress Reports: You MUST bring a copy of your progress report to one of the soccer coaches (September 23). A mandatory study hall will be set up for  interested players who need to bring their grades up in order to be eligible to play this spring.

Seniors: We need to get together and decide on a season logo and cover shoot date. Come see me (Lisa Bell-Davis) during Field Clean-Up day to discuss.

Get your parents involved! We need all kinds of volunteer help now. Please ask your parents to take a look at the Officers page of the Booster Club section of this website to see what they can do to help out.

Let's Have a Great Season!
